High-calorie Glucose-rich food attenuates neuroglycopenic symptoms in patients with Addison’s disease

Patients suffering from Addison’s disease suffer from numerous symptoms such as fatigue. However this study suggests that high-calorie comfort food reduces symptoms of neuroglycopenia in Addison patients suggesting an association with deficit in cerebral energy supply that can partially be reduced via intake of food.
